Instead of cars with crazy wings like the one on top to harness the power of the wind, why don't we have a windmill installed in the car?

It could work like a turbo, by using the exhaust gasses as a propellant to spin the fan which in turn spins an electric motor. Could this be more efficient than a regular turbo?

Things to think about...

Have you ever reflected upon your life and realised that you don't speak to certain friends that often anymore although they are your closest buddies once?

Last time you would share everything with them. Calling them if they were late for class. Asking them to save a spot for you when you are running late. Discuss about studies even though both of you were from different classes. Ask him/her for back-up whenever you needed that extra set of helping hands.

It's kinda sad to see that great friendship reduced to just short hi-byes (Saying 'hi' when we bump into them and then a quick 'bye' as we rush away to continue doing our stuff).

It might be because of differences in the availability of time in our lives. It might be because of some misunderstanding. It might be because of differences in our opinions. It might be because of others. It might be because of a change of place.

It even be the choice either of us made or even both of us made.

But no matter what, even when the sky rain fire, I will still be your friend forever.

I've always had this lil something for Journalism. So this quiz confirms it. Die lah.. How lah this time? I'm currently going to major in Business Administration but my heart (and this quiz) is telling me to take the other path. Sigh..

It's been quite accurate for most of my friends who have taken it. So... it's quite trustable?

Female or Shemale?

This is seriously one hard quiz and the answers are even harder to accept. I took it through the Movies application in Facebook. Let's see how you fare. Write down your answers on a piece of paper or write it in your handphone. Answers are given after all the pictures. Good luck!

Pyschotic Psychos @ Psychology Week

Three weeks ago, four tutorial groups organised a Psychology exhibition in Heritage Hall. It aims to enlighten the public on Abnormal Behaviour. Among the four, we are supposed to vote for our favourite one. I voted for this group, because of their creative way of disseminating information and making learning easier through experience. We were being led through a 'tunnel', along the journey, there are 'rooms' in which different everyday situations are acted out by them. The tour guide will also be the narrator who briefs you about what the person is doing in the situation and its causes.

Photobucket
The first room. The guy lying down on the floor is an 'accident victim'. Two of the girls there are 'passerby's who does nothing but look at the 'victim' who is groaning in pain. They call that the 'Passerby effect'.

Photobucket
Second room. The girl here who does yoga believes that being thin is being beautiful. She does yoga everyday and barely eats anything. I can't recall what situation I was in here.

Photobucket
Third room. The guy seen 'protesting' here has double personality. His 'normal self' is one shy and quiet guy. In this picture he is showing his violent half. The pic reminds me of HINDRAF.

Photobucket
Fourth room. The one with the apron is the 'mother' and two girls beside him are his 'daughters'. This situations shows that positive reinforcement is better than negative reinforcement. The 'mother' 'bribes' one of his 'daughters' to do housework while forces the other one to do his bidding. The one who was forced refuses to work. The one who was 'bribed' quickly completes her given tasks.

Photobucket
Fifth room. From left to right : The narrator, 'dog trainer' and 'dog'. This room teaches association. The 'dog' learns to associate the ring of the bell to incoming food/treat. Woof!

Photobucket
6th room. From left to right : The narrator, 'father' and 'son'. This one happens everyday and can be summarised in the peribahasa, bapa borek anak rintik. See the cigarette in the 'father's' and 'son's' hand? The 'son' learns how to smoke and whistle at girls from his 'father'. ~Smoking is good for health. lol.

On another case, as Mr Najib became our 6th Prime Minister, the prophesy has been fulfilled. The R-A-H-M-A-N prophesy. If you're still in the dark about it :

R = 1st Prime Minister, Tunku Abdul Rahman
A = 2nd Prime Minister, Tun Abdul Razak
H = 3rd Prime Minister, Tun Hussein Onn
M = 4th Prime Minister, Tun Dr Mahathir
A = 5th Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Abdullah Badawi
N = 6th Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak

The circle is complete today. A mere coincidence? It's a lil too creepy to be a coincidence.. I say it's planned! It's some diabolical conspiracy theory!

*whispers* It might be the work of Tok Janggut from the Kapten Hassan novel.

I got something from the rumour mill too, it says that he might be the PM with the shortest reign in Malaysian history. Either way, it's still a bitter-sweet situation..

Accidentally In Love

Not the song by Counting Crows you heard in Shrek. It's actually a stage drama, planned & organised by the people from the Public Speaking Society of UTAR.

April's Fool?

Tomorrow lecture class canceled.
Just know from WBLE.

This message came in the morning. I've just missed my morning tutorial because I forgot to set the alarm on my handphone. And so I replied :

Later Ms. Ching's class canceled?

A few minutes later, a reply came in. And it read :

You're stupid.
Happy April Fool.
Hoho..

What the??? I thought it was for real and was actually a lil excited and happy that I get to skip another class but this time, officially. Apalah.. Then off I went to lecture, cycling, in the burning afternoon sun, that threaten to microwave me alive if I don't get to campus on time.
