Soon work must be started on a page for the subject Webpage Design. For extra marks, I need it to be online. Yes I have used the all-powerful Google already and the result was a site that offers free hosting but its only limited up to 15Mb. The project I'm supposed to work on soon is laden with pictures, that will bump up the file size quite a bit.

So anyone knows of any free site hosting with a maximum file size of say maybe, 50Mb? Do inform me if you know of any which offers more than 15Mb.

What has happened to the weather? Has it gone haywire? I mean seriously, it's been raining like almost everyday here in Kampung Kampar. It's supposed to be the raining season right? Why am I conplaining? It's been like that since the last weather change.

I don't think so. Something has gone terribly wrong. I haven't seen rain this frequent. And neither is Kampar the wettest town in Malaysia. A divine intervention? Highly unlikely.. A sign of global warming? Possibly..

It's time for a change. If not, my clothes will stay wet and smell, I can't go to campus or I'll be stuck in campus, I'm going to starve as the town is a 5 minute bicycle ride away, I can't play badminton. Hmmm..

Think you've defeated mother nature? Think again. She's still holding a few aces...

I was flipping through some blogs and came across this particular post. It was about the 'emo' culture. Before 'emo' there was the 'goth'. I'm sure people in major cities are already fond of these culture fads. The author of that particular blog was slamming emo people. I was okay with it at first till I came across this picture :



Oh so now you judge people by their looks? You can just punch them in the face just because they looked as though they belonged to a group you hate? Seriously I would have punched you in the face for this picture. You wrote that you're a devout Christian and you are doing this? Judging people by how they look? Can't they have the freedom to choose whatever hairstyle or fashion they would like to follow? Try putting yourself in their shoes. Do you like it if I were to judge you based on how you look? What did God ever taught you? You're a disgrace..

One day, David, a salary man lost his job. His wife and kids left him. He had to sell his car and eventually the roof over his head had to go too. He was left with just the clothes on his back. He slept on the streets day after day and pondered about his fate. Why did he end up this way?

What is all this suppose to mean? Is this fate? Is this a sign from God? It all came to a single question;

So he decided to climb a local mountain which legend has it that an old sage there has the answers to all the questions in the world. And so on one fateful day he began his climb. Each stride took him closer to the sage.

Then on the 3rd day of his climb, he reached the peak finally. On the peak, there was a cave. He mustered all his courage and walked right into the cave. And yes, an old man with white flowing beard was waiting for him there.

David : O great & wise sage, I have climbed here all the way from the bottom to ask you a very important question.

Sage : Yes my young one?

David : What is the answer to life universe and everything?

Sage : 42

David : Huh?

Sage : Yes 42.

David : What do you mean by 42?

The sage looked at David and smiled.

Sage : That's what Google told me. Dun believe me? Google it!

He moved a greyish rock beside him and revealed a laptop. He then starts typing furiously on it.

Sage : There you go young one, have a look.

The sage turns his laptop and this appeared on his screen :

Sometimes things in life aren't that hard. Slow down, take a deep breath and it might just be in front of your very own nose. Why is it 42? That I don't know. Let that remain one of the mysteries of the universe. Or maybe Google?

The Management paper is over. Another 5 subjects to go. Webpage Design is just a sunrise away.

It's both inspiring and shocking to see that students in UTAR are actually studying like it's finals already. Everywhere you go in the campus, you are sure to find students sitting down on the floor with notes in their hands. Not even the canteen is spared as you can see students studying while eating.

As for me, I'm still having fun and taking life easy. Guess I was lucky to get a 3.33 for last sem. Hmm.. I should really be eating up the Webpage Design book right now.. But all those codes, elements and jargons are hard to swallow..
