The world celebrated World Silent Day on March 21st. A day I have never heard of. No you're not required to shut your mouth for that day. You are just required to turn off all your electrical appliances up to 4 hours on that day to tackle global warming.
How much can you save with just 4 hours? Global warming will not just disappear with 4 hours. Yes a total of 4 hours from thousands, maybe millions of people across the globe might be a significant saving but does it push back the clock of global warming? No. A good but futile effort.

Thanks to Jeremy Clarkson, I know these are all pointless and torturingly stupid. Global warming is coming and instead of planting more greens, more idiots are buying Porsche Cayennes, X5, M-class, Range Rover, Hummers etc. Get an M5 or E63 AMG estate instead goddamit!!
