Revenge of the Half Blood Dinosaur

Transformers : Revenge of The Fallen

Finally, just got a chance to watch it last two weeks. The first two tries failed because ticket sales were skyrocketing and we weren't able to get tickets for it. Currently, even after two weeks, it was still a sell-out! For a non-hardcore Transformers fan, it was one hella movie! There's more jokes in this version than the first installment and there's a lot more action scenes this time. However, I still love the first one better as it has a lot more 'feel' to it. The anticipation that something is going to happen and the whole journey to the climax was just missing in this movie. It's just missing that 'woah' factor that the first movie has. Nevertheless Revenge of the Fallen gets a 3.5/5 stars from me.

This has got to be my favourite of the three. It's a lot more mature and there's Buck! Don't know who he is? He's one funny fella. Imagine Jack Sparrow reincarnated as a possum. Yes seriously Buck is a possum with a Jack Sparrow attitude. He's eccentric, adventurous and above all a possum. Nothing much to be said about this movie except it got me laughing from the start till the end. I love the 'I don't speak wind' and laughing gas scene. The 'losing altitude' was another memorable one. LOL.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

It was a 3 hour long journey into a world filled with magic. But this time around, it was not just magic. The stench of death and impending doom was all around. Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince or HP6 (I wonder what's with Malaysian and numbers.. They even have to label Terminator and Fast and Furious for us.) I prefer movies with these kind of themes rather than those which would cater to a younger audience. To me, who's not a HP6 book reader (I stopped at HP4, Goblet of Fire), the movie was good but I was disappointed as I was waiting for the big fight that did not come. According to my sources, a lot of scenes that were not from the book was cut/added into the movie. So there was actually a big fight at the end but it wasn't put into the movie. I'm waiting for the last one, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Yep it was a lil slow but I think that should be the way, since they followed most of the book.

I yawned a lot during HP, too long, too boring. Just maybe, the only compensation is "MICHAEL GAMBON IS DEAD!!! FARK YEAH~!!" Seriously, I never liked his Dumbledore, he just couldn't be the kind, gentle grandpa headmaster the late Richard Harris was.

Ice Age 3? Hmm... wanted to watch it, but come to think of it, I haven't even watched the first one, lol.

i did not really followed it closely, so his death was kinda meaningless to me. can't really remembered the first Dumbledore.. it was way too long ago..

ice age 3 was good. personally, it's the best of the 3. i was laughing from start till end. i dun think you need to watch the first or second one.
